What I Should Be Doing

It has been a long while since we've posted anything, merely evidence of how busy our semester has been. Not that we are any busier than anyone else, or that we are always doing something and going somewhere so that sitting down to blog becomes an absolute impossibility. It's not like that. Rather, the not blogging is simply the result of a priority shift, which I despise in many ways. The joy I get out of posting to our blog is stifled and stolen by the intense feeling that, regardless of how much I enjoy the thing at hand, I should be spending my time in another way. It is the should that I don't like. The feeling that I should be spending my time on what is productive rather than on what is enjoyable is the worst kind of deception.
