Double Rainbow – Full On
No doubt many of you have been exposed to the internet sensation that is ‘Double Rainbow Man’. If you haven’t seen it, you should probably watch it because it’s pretty hilarious. The.Guy.Freaks.Out… all the way across the sky.
What does it mean? The first time I saw this, I laughed full on, but I was also painfully aware that I had some striking similarities with Double Rainbow Man, for I also had seen a double rainbow not too long ago and had freaked out enough to take a picture of it, put it on my blog, and asked the question, “what does it mean” (here). Here is my double rainbow full on all the way, and I don’t want to brag or anything, but it’s way ‘full-on’er than his!
The similarities continue all the way across the sky, after Double Rainbow Man became an internet phenomena, Microsoft decided to make a commercial featuring the man himself:
The commercial shows the Double Rainbow Man capturing the rainbow in separate shots and then combining them later in Windows Live Photo Gallery… which happens to be exactly what I had done, evidenced below by the original pictures…
It’s too much, so intense. That’s when it hit me… we both saw a double rainbow, we both freaked out, we both took pictures of it, we both asked, “what does it mean?”, we both posted it on our blogs, we both use Windows Live Photo Gallery to stitch together our pictures of the rainbow, and perhaps the strangest of all, we both share the same exact nickname: “bear”! AM I DOUBLE RAINBOW MAN!?!? Is it sort of like a Jekyll and Hyde thing where I turn into him at night and go rampaging through the countryside looking for double rainbows?!
